Summe Time Patten In Chokoloskee

Report Date: July 15, 2010

Well it's been a month and a half since i've repoted on fishing the Eveglades(Chokoloskee).
To start with, you need to get out early, and get back befor the thundestorms start.
My red fishing has been pretty good,as well as snook fishing.
Most anglers are still fishing the gulf side.
For your trout, triple Tail and cobia fishermen and women, get out into the geen water and cover gound.
The Tarpon has slowed somewhat but were still jumping fish as Jeff Davis and Paul Hutchinson know.
Here's a pic of KC and Salem's Tiple Tail last week.
We Had chances for many reds this last month, but the mullett have been a poblem in the bites making the water dirty.
Most of the trout are on offshore structue and mixed in with them ae pompano, snook, smaller tarpon,as well as permit.
Get out and have fun on the glass slick waters in the morning and have a blast.
I did well also last week with mackeral.
Tight lines,
Capt.Bert Barkus
